My soul, dilated
By the greatness of the smalls,
Swallows the red Sun.

On a sunless day
I felt him tap on my back;
But I was away.
With them screaming hymns;
In this neighbourhood, I am
Almost an atheist!
They erect statues
In the likeness of their foes;
To bury their guilt.
One morning I see
Five crows circling the sky.
The long dead came back.

My first try at Haiku
Midnight cigarette,
Passed from your mouth to my mouth.
Amidst nothingness.

Overcooked thoughts
These thoughts which I believe to be mine,
Weary thoughts used many a times,
Within me they ring so loud.
Their ghostly echoes smeared on my mouth.
Trapped, they don't leak out as deeds.
My selfishness keeps them on a leash.
I keep them hidden day after day.
These repeating thoughts wasting away.

The Medal
On this celebrated day of the year,
Morning crowds, they gather to cheer.
Amidst the drums' and trumpets' roar
And an eager face in uniform.
His name called out as though,
He was but a glorious hero!
And someone supposedly important
With a half fake smile, shaking his hand,
Puts up these metallic suns on him.
On his shirt pocket, held by a pin.
Piercing and beading away some lives;
Death toll adding to his style.

Mother mosquito
Humming a slow sad song,
My ears can hardly tune in.
You fly around a mundane flight,
With a belly full of sin.
You sin for your babies, I’ve heard,
Those upside down infants.
Who know not your burden and life
Thriving gleefully in a thicker plane
“Infectant” is your other name.
It is called out in such disdain .
Crushed into a blood stain
That’s not even yours to claim .
But tonight I see a different story.
I see myself in your tiny body.
By letting you fly away unhurt,
My infinite selfishness I usurp.
My ears can hardly tune in.
You fly around a mundane flight,
With a belly full of sin.
You sin for your babies, I’ve heard,
Those upside down infants.

Moths in the closet
Far away I see it come
Trotting nearer, in me it will plunge.
Piling words I slowly fade
Paling me down shade by shade.
These fears and plights and imaginations,
I wriggle and mumble in desperation
Until I am left standing alone
Deterring, demolishing like a cyclone.
Excreting out a beautiful face
Until I am stripped to a distasteful state.
Like a pointless pole I settle in
Stills after stills I finally feel.
I dare to take my first breath.
This new born body - I will never possess
As my mothful fears sink in one by one
Hiding, awaiting another moment to haunt.
Till they can flutter their frozen wings again
Their dusty fog encroaching my brain.
Trotting nearer, in me it will plunge.
Piling words I slowly fade
Paling me down shade by shade.
These fears and plights and imaginations,
I wriggle and mumble in desperation
Until I am left standing alone
Deterring, demolishing like a cyclone.

Truth has no observers
So I was thinking about the concept of ultimate truth again. The ultimate truth can never be observed as observing it will always turn the observation into a perception. What I mean to say is that, observing the ultimate truth will not be enough as there will be another phenomenon created which is the act of observation; which needs to be observed for the complete understanding of the ultimate truth. And when one observes something, one cannot observe the observation. And even if one does observe the observation of the truth, another dimension of observing the observation of observing the truth is required for the complete understanding of the thing that we are observing unless we want to end up with another perception; and so the level of observation will never end. But nevertheless we exist and the universe also exists; and so there is an ultimate truth. The atoms and the molecules work the way they work, the stars and the galaxies are the way they are, big bangs happen or not happen regardless of our debates about them in our earthly spheres; and numerous other processes happen in the way they happen to make this existence exist regardless of how we understand things. They exist on their own without anyone observing it or understanding it. And ironically, we are a part of the existing cosmic mysteries and we will keep getting born and die regardless of whether we understand life or death or what happens after that, we will still be part of this unobservable truth of existence.
Truth has no observers

A moment of somethingness
Been living in a surreal dream
A change of mind with every blink
Confused with this diffusion
A thousand pricking emotions
Rendering me thoughtful till the brim
Yet unable to escape these margins that I feel
With feelings taking over my limbs and brain
Have got no feelings left to feel remorse and pain
And then my feelings turn into visions
Visions of possibilities not bound by time
But why am I stuck in these definitions?
“Definite” you call it but you see them perish
Puncturing holes to eternity
Forcing wonder on possibilities
But then the vision breaks
And the gravity takes and I wake
To these definite definitions
And then I wonder
What did I see?
What did I feel?
What am I?
Or am I?
A change of mind with every blink
Confused with this diffusion
A thousand pricking emotions
Rendering me thoughtful till the brim
Yet unable to escape these margins that I feel
With feelings taking over my limbs and brain
Have got no feelings left to feel remorse and pain
And then my feelings turn into visions
Visions of possibilities not bound by time
But why am I stuck in these definitions?
“Definite” you call it but you see them perish
Puncturing holes to eternity
Forcing wonder on possibilities
But then the vision breaks
And the gravity takes and I wake
To these definite definitions
And then I wonder
What did I see?
What did I feel?
What am I?
Or am I?
